Peter Kaye talks with Margaret Nunziato of Westchester Independent Living Center about a handful of the many programs and services they offer individuals with disabilities. WILC’s is a community- based organization that empowers people with disabilities to lead self-directed lives through advocacy, training and referral, and resources that promote independent living. Nunziato shares an impactful story of a client that was recently able to return home after thirty years in a nursing home through one of WILC’s specialized services.
