Jeanice Lee talks to Chris Ackerman, Senior Marketing Manager/Public Information Officer with the Victor Valley Transit Authority. Ackerman says they serve Victorville, Hesperia, Apple Valley, Adelanto, Barstow and various unincorporated places in San Bernardino County. They have 49 fixed route buses, they have county routes that serve outline areas, 28 different bus routes, direct access services which is ADA transit service and their Micro Transit service, Micro-link. Ackerman says they have a Travel Training program that teaches people how to ride the bus and learn the bus system. (VVTA.org)
