Jeanice Lee talks to Stephanie Rickert, Executive Director of Old McDonald’s Farm, Inc. Rickert says they are an educational farm program for kids and a children’s charitable non-profit organization. They utilized animals, an agricultural garden, and natural resources to reach the hearts and heads of kids, including at-risk children and youth in a safe farm setting. They also incorporate academic lessons into their programs. Rickert describes some of the various activities they have throughout the year.
