Kindra Ponzio talks with Carrie Grover, CEO of Tracy Community Connection Center. Grover talks about how big the need is everywhere in CA. They offer services in the San Joaquin Co for the homeless, soon to be, or underserved population. Grover says they have 2 mobile units, shower and laundry, and they have had a huge impact on this population. She said they also offer wrap around services including food and case management. They also offer housing assistance or utilities asst. Grover says it's much less expensive to help people stay in their homes versus trying to rehome them.
