Jeanice Lee talks to the Executive Director of The STAR Project, Linda Scott. STAR stands for Successful Transition & Reentry. This non-profit focuses on helping people retuning to the community after being incarcerated. Scott shares the various services they provide such as pre-release transition, case management, housing support, employment and mentoring with the support of the community. Scott says they take an intensive, participant-driven case management approach with the overall goal for people to be productive members of the community.
