Peter Kaye speaks with Katie and Adam Quinn, cofounders of The Cornerstone Creative, a nonprofit youth mentorship program utilizing woodworking and craftsmanship. Katie speaks to the need local kids have for mentorship opportunities and shares how the Gloucester community has embraced their mission by partnering on various projects. She outlines their mentoring program for youth who have come out of the juvenile justice system. Adam gives a behind the scenes, day to day peak into the shop as youth build cutting boards, skateboards, and most importantly confidence and relationships. Both Katie and Adam emphasize their mission of mentorship through craftsmanship.
