Jeanice Lee talks with Charlotte Paliani, Secretary/Treasurer with the Ocean Park Food Bank. Ocean Park Food Bank is located at 1601 Bay Avenue in O.P. Anyone is welcome Tuesday through Friday 10am – 2:45pm to receive food assistance. No appointment or proof of income is needed. People can pick what they need like fresh meat, milk, cheese & eggs. Help support the Ocean Park Food Bank by becoming a volunteer, make a monetary/food donation or participate in the Green Bag Program. The biggest need is a new location, as their lease is coming to an end. They are seeking a building so they can continue to serve the community. They are struggling to get supplies from their suppliers such as milk & eggs so people traveling into the O.P. area from a larger communities are asked to help donate those items.
