Jack Church talked with Terra Sprout, Executive Director for Nashville Angels. Sprout said Nashville Angels exist to help provide additional support to children, youth and families in the foster care system. Nashville Angels is not in the business of placing children and youth in foster care but more of a support to both mechanism. She said that support can come in many forms from helping find piano lessons for a child wanting to learn to play the piano do providing respite for foster families needing a short break from what can be a very demanding schedule while helping provide care for children and teens. The organization also has a unique support program called Dare to Dream which matches mentors with kids from age 11 to young adults up to age 22.
