Jeanice Lee talks to Sean Strickling, Operations Manager of Heart of Compassion Distribution Food Bank. Strickling says they will help anyone in need of food and they do not turn away anyone that includes connecting people to partner network organizations. Food is available Tues. & Wed. 9:30- 11am. Registration starts at 8am. People need ID. Their drive thru distribution is located at 600 S Maple Ave in Montebello. Strickling says they also offer anger management and CPR classes, forklift training, mental health support, and they have a men’s recovery home to help those struggling with drugs and alcohol.
