Monika Kelly speaks with Maureen Legg, Co-Executive Director of the Eric Paredes Save A Life Foundation, founded after the 15-year-old suffered a Sudden Cardiac Arrest death. His parents, a nurse and a California Highway Patrol officer, had no idea that their son had a pre-existing heart condition. Their mission is to save lives through youth heart screenings, placing AEDs, demonstrating CPR, implementing cardiac emergency response plans and advocating for new laws and better prevention protocol, they honor Eric’s legacy to protect young hearts.
