Jack Church spoke with Tony Marciano, President and CEO for the Charlotte Rescue Mission. Marciano talked about the history of the mission dating back to 1938 when it started out serving hungry and homeless men. Marciano explained how in recent years the Mission has expanded to include services for women and families. The Mission has also seen a dramatic rise in treating addictions which now account for almost 100 percent of their clients. They now offer a free treatment program that includes a transition into their Community Cafe program which is open to the general public.
