Jeanice Lee talks to Monica Merryman, Executive Director of Cancer Support Community Valley / Ventura / Santa Barbara. Merryman says they provide emotional support to those who have or are currently going through cancer including their families and caregivers. Merryman says their programs are free, unlimited, and help restore hope in people. They provide cancer support groups, educational workshops, individual cancer counseling, social activities, and healthy lifestyle classes which are offered in English and Spanish to adults, teens, children, families, and caregivers.
