Serving as a powerful reminder of the things that hold eternal significance, Cochren & Co. issues a wake-up call on “Money Can’t Buy.” The collective’s latest radio single starts out as what listeners assume will be a heart-tugging ballad, but it quickly picks up steam and transitions into a contagious anthem highlighted by stacked vocals, a catchy hook and an important message we’d all be wise to heed.

As Cochren & Co. attests, the things the world says will fill us up or make us happy will always leave us feeling empty. But it’s the intangible gifts that are actually priceless.

“We chase shiny things, hoping they’ll satisfy, but they always fade,” asserts the group’s frontman, Michael Cochren. “The lie that ‘just a little more’ will be enough never delivers. But what if the real treasure isn’t something we can buy? What if the peace, joy and purpose we’re searching for have already been given? Lord, wake us up to what truly matters.”

Cochren penned the future hit with Chris Stevens, introducing piercing lyrics like: “I’m done chasin’ after gold. Rip the price tag off my soul. You fill my life with somethin’ money can’t buy.”

The band filmed the track’s official lyric video in Montana with an expansive landscape stretching behind Cochren that’s as life-giving as the song itself. Meanwhile, the group will visit the concrete jungle as they make their national television debut performing “Money Can’t Buy” on “FOX & Friends” Mar. 23.

In the meantime, Cochren & Co. is currently on the road with Mac Powell and Jon Reddick on Powell’s “I Love Jesus Tour” through mid-April.
