New Song Feature The King is in the Room by Phil Wickham

Phil Wickham kicks off his next era of music with a song primed for your Sunday morning setlist, “The King Is In The Room.” The exuberant anthem is filled to the brim with praise as Wickham sings of breaking the chains of fear and shame in exchange for freedom in Christ.

“The idea and reminder that the miracle-making, universe-creating, heart-healing, soul-resurrecting God is with us — right here, right now — it blows my mind. It makes me awaken to what’s possible when we recognize His presence and power,” Wickham shares. “Call out to Him today. Wherever you are, He’s with you!”

The K-LOVE Fan Award winner is already rallying believers under the exhilarating banner of the presence of the Lord, uniting people around the truth that our God reigns and He will never abandon us. Wickham has been playing the frenetic original live on his popular “Singalong Tour” this spring, alongside friends Cody Carnes and Kristian Stanfill, and he’s swiftly seen the transformative way this life-giving track is radiating joy to those lifting up the name of Jesus, wholeheartedly convinced He’s here and actively working in our lives.

“The King Is In The Room” serves as the introductory single from the SoCal native’s upcoming studio record. He penned the high-energy selection with Ethan Hulse, Josh Farro, Phil Danyew, Tommy Iceland and Taylor Johnson in the hopes that worship leaders around the world would have a fresh song to begin their worship sets with, setting the table for an encounter with Jesus, who is already in the room.
