Celebrate God

Valentine’s Day is just around the corner, and it’s a great time to reflect on God’s goodness. Originally named for St. Valentine, an early figure of the Christian church, today’s Valentine’s Day traditions are a wonderful opportunity to reflect on the relationships we share—and the everlasting love we have in Jesus.

Scripture is full of verses that describe God’s all-powerful, all-encompassing love for His children. And many of these themes can be found in the songs you hear on K-LOVE! So, sit down, relax and enjoy seven songs to help you celebrate Valentine’s Day.

“Loves Got a Way” by Andrew Ripp

Andrew Ripp’s upbeat anthem kicks off our playlist. Heartfelt lyrics and an infectious melody paint a redemptive picture of God’s everlasting love. He is able to heal, restore and redeem any situation for our good, no matter how bad things seem.

“When I Fall” by Katy Nichole

This poignant ballad speaks to the heart of some of the most vulnerable feelings we experience as human beings. What happens when we fail or fall short? Katy Nichole’s raw, authentic lyrics communicate the depth of God’s ability to carry us through the darkest times with love and compassion that never fails. His grace is constant.

“The Cross” by Anne Wilson & Chris Tomlin

In this stunning guitar-led song focused on the beautiful power of Jesus’ sacrifice on the cross, Country queen Anne Wilson and Christian music icon Chris Tomlin team up for a moving duet that underscores the forgiveness we find at Jesus’ feet. Nothing we have done can separate us from His love!

“He Sees You” by Terrian

Have you ever felt left behind, been overlooked or secretly carried a struggle you felt no one else could understand? Terrian’s R&B-influenced “He Sees You” will strengthen your weary heart. With its life-affirming lyrics and comforting Gospel choir, the song is reminiscent of Psalm 139:16 (NLT), which says, “You saw me before I was born. Every day of my life was recorded in your book. Every moment was laid out before a single day had passed.”

“Running Back to You” by Seph Schleuter

Are you hiding from God, scared of what He’ll think of your mistakes? You’re not alone. Seph Schlueter’s “Running Back To You” is a soulful call to reconciliation that will encourage you to discover the joy of returning to God after feeling separated from Him. There is no shame or condemnation for those in Christ, and He is always calling us back to the table.

“The Truth” by Megan Woods

When shame and insecurities build up, looking down on yourself is easy. But the reality is, you are a child of God—and you’re loved no matter what! The best way to battle against the lies of the enemy is with truth, and this song is a powerful reminder that perfect love casts out fear, and we can rest safely in His arms. This song will surely leave you feeling seen, fully known and deeply loved.

“A Thousand Times” by We Are Messengers

The last song on our Valentine’s Day playlist celebrates God's unwavering love. No matter how often we find ourselves in situations we can’t handle, He is there. Driving percussion and a refrain of, "You never let go, you know that it's true. He's still that good, and He's still got you" echo throughout the song. You’ll be inspired to hope again because He is good!

We hope this playlist inspires and uplifts you this Valentine’s Day season. Whatever your plans are for the holiday, remember you are loved by God. Jesus’ love never fails!
