Transformative Treasure: The Power of Identity Statements

When I was 17 and newly saved, I was given an amazing treasure that is still a priceless resource to me after all these years. Memorizing, meditating, and speaking out these identity statements helped me think clearly about how God sees me. When I learned how to recognize, reject, and replace lies with eternal truth, I was filled with the rich and strengthening encouragement that comes directly from the Holy Spirit. Processing and believing these truths, which apply to all believers, will be a solid foundation for those just starting out in their relationship with Jesus, as well as a boost of uplifting power for those who have been walking with Jesus for many years. Whichever season of life you’re in, forming your thinking around these statements and applying them will be of much benefit to you. Personally, the Lord has used His Word to establish a firm footing for me that has proven to be vital over the course of decades of following Jesus, and I pray these are as useful to you as they have been to me.
