Some days, it feels like the world is only getting darker. What makes it even harder is the feeling of helplessness. Anxiety, fear, depression, and hopelessness keep rising.
So, where do we turn? What do we do? What is the responsibility of the church? The answer is not around us. It is in a person. That person is Jesus. We keep looking to Jesus. We continue to pour our hearts out in fervent prayer.
Why? Because we have a loving father who cares deeply for us. The church was built for times like these because Jesus is its foundation. The darker the hour, the brighter the church needs to shine. The following prayers invite us to pray honest prayers in times of distress through the lens of God’s word.
