When the pandemic hit, the owners of Bear Fruit Bakery in Texas City, Texas saw something very unusual happen with their business. While other businesses around them seemed to be struggling during the pandemic, their bakery was ‘booming!’

Ryan and Kaitlin Stafford own the Bear Fruit bakery. And being blessed, they decided to give part of their earnings to other businesses, to help them stay afloat.

“God’s been in it the whole way and He knew that we we’re gonna be able to do some good with it,” says Ryan. He says the bakery is not all about making money, but rather about investing in God and in people. He admits the business has definitely been a “blessing from God and His favor has been in it the whole way.”

Ryan says his idea to give comes from his strong faith. In fact, the name of the bakery comes from the Bible’s John-Fifteen-Four… ‘to show God’s glory in everything they do … and what it means to truly ‘bear fruit.’
