Volunteers from Fearless Kitty Rescue will be on their way February 10th to fire-ravaged Los Angeles to assist in rehoming kitties out of the area. They will be back at the Rescue Monday evening.
Fearless Kitty Rescue has now partnered with Friends of Normie, a large independent foster-based cat rescue in Southern California.
Deanna Schlagenhaft, Fearless Kitty Rescue Executive Director, said, “The Fearless Kitty Rescue van has been loaded with enough carriers to accommodate the cats and kittens that we will be bringing back.” She went on to say, “Fearless Kitty Rescue is joining several other rescues and shelters across the country on the ground in LA, providing their support in this heartbreaking situation”.
Friends of Normie has been taking in cats displaced by the fires -- from their own fosters who lived in LA and had to evacuate to cats from other foster-based rescues that lost homes in the fire.
All the cats being brought back to Fearless Kitty Rescue are thoroughly vetted and will be available for adoption to loving homes. Bringing them back helps Friends of Normie and their foster situation and introduces them to a new group of adopters.
