"Summer Fest" at 7 Hills Church celebrated a significant milestone with 216 children making the decision to invite Jesus into their lives throughout the course of the vacation Bible school in June.
Campuses in Florence, KY, and Cincinatti, OH saw hundreds of children attend "Summer Fest," an annual day-camp for children ages first to sixth-grade hosted by 7 Hills Church.
"I’m so proud of our 7 Hills Kids team for putting on our best Summer Fest yet. This past week, hundreds of kids learned who Jesus is and that they are priceless to him," said lead pastor Marcus Mecum. "After a year marked by isolation and significant loss, children need to be reminded that God knows us, hears us and chooses us each and every day."
The three-day program focused on introducing children to the person of Jesus while giving them a place to safely build friendships, play games, learn to work with a team and develop spiritually. The weekend was brought to a close with the Summer Fest After Party on Sunday morning.
