"It’s incredible to see the joy and hope in the faces of our Kings and Queens as they step onto the red carpet at Night to Shine—that moment when they realize the cheers and applause are for them. For many, it’s the first time they’ve ever felt truly celebrated, especially by someone outside their family. But that’s exactly why Night to Shine exists—to remind them of their inherent worth, that they are God’s beloved royalty, seen and cherished by Him every single day. What started with just 44 host churches has now grown to over 800 locations in 60+ countries, far beyond what we ever imagined. But it’s never just been about a prom night; it’s about communicating God’s love in a way that transcends language and culture. My hope is that every guest walks away knowing they are a VIP—not just to us, but to the God who created them.” - Tim Tebow, founder and chairman of the Tim Tebow Foundation

Short stories from 2025 Night to Shine:
International church volunteer about an honored guest - undisclosed location for security concerns: "She had never felt so special. From the moment she arrived, joy filled her heart. Volunteers greeted her warmly. As she walked the red carpet, cheers surrounded her.
Then came the moment she would never forget. A sparkling crown was placed on her head. ‘You are a queen,’ they told her. Tears welled in her eyes. She had always dreamed of feeling this honored, this loved.
But it wasn’t just the honored guest who was impacted. The entire community watched in awe—Christians, pouring out love in a place where there were none. The honored guest's parents, overwhelmed, said, ‘We have never met a Christian in our entire lives, nor do we know anyone in our family who has. Yet tonight, we feel blessed beyond measure.’
That night, love broke barriers, and God’s light shone brighter than ever before."
Mother of an honored guest - City Church for All Nations - Bloomington, IN: "I wanted to take a moment to express my heartfelt gratitude to you and the City Church team for the incredible event last night. It truly was a moving demonstration of how we can come together, embodying the love and compassion of Jesus.
As a mother of a special needs child, I found so much hope and joy in the evening’s warmth and support. It was a blessing to be part of such a loving community, surrounded by so many joyful faces. Your hard work, time, and dedication did not go unnoticed, and it made a significant difference."
Pastor - Biserica Betania - Romania: “It's impossible to walk away from Night to Shine without your soul being touched. Inevitably after such an evening you feel encouraged, full of gratitude and a new desire to do good. Night to Shine is more than an event; it is a life lesson, a celebration of love and the dignity of every human being.”
Church volunteer - Compass Christian Church - North Richland Hills, TX: “We had a mom in tears watching as her son went down the Red Carpet and when one of my volunteers asked if she was ok, the mom said ‘I just have never seen him this happy. He has never been to anything like this. Thank you so very much for providing a safe place for him to be himself.’”
