The tourist town of Lahaina, that was home to 12,000 people, is pretty much gone

Our ministry partner Convoy of Hope (COH) is urgently coordinating with local churches in Maui to help many people who are now homeless, and who may have lost loved ones.

The firestorm has taken more than 67 lives, with as many as a thousand residents unaccounted for.

The tourist town of Lahaina, that was home to 12,000 people, is pretty much gone. And some fires continue to burn.

In our complete podcast interview just below, Convoy of Hope spokesman Ethan Forhetz shares the latest on relief efforts.

Convoy will provide food, hygiene items, and tents, but "there's a lot of things that people need right now, obviously, maybe the biggest is...hope," which COH and churches are in a position to offer.

If you would like to come alongside to help in this massive relief effort, here's how.
