Marcus Theatres is planning a solid lineup of faith-based and inspirational entertainment over the next few months. Marcus is the fourth largest theater circuit in the country and operates theaters in 18 states, including Chicagoland, Omaha/Lincoln, Columbus, Denver, Little Rock, and Fort Worth.
On November 18, they’ll be premiering the first two episodes of Season 3 of the global phenomenon "The Chosen" and the family-friendly musical "It's Christmas Again."
In December, Marcus Theatres will show the much anticipated "I Heard the Bells," the inspiring backstory to the 1863 Christmas carol and its author, Henry Wadsworth Longfellow, from Sight & Sound.

And in December, music fans also can experience "Johnny Cash: The Redemption of an American Icon," a documentary focusing on the music legend's faith and career.

And if you’re looking to celebrate the true meaning of Christmas consider "5,000 Blankets," inspired by the real life story of a woman who created a movement of compassion toward those in need.
And as the new year gets underway, another faith-based special: Jesus Revolution debuts in February.

The films, of course, will also be available at other theaters across the country. But the Marcus Theatres line-up is impressive.
