Felipe Aguilar talks with Denise Usener Executive Director, Golden Hub Community Center. Usener provides some historical background information that led to the beginnings of the community center. She describes programs the center has in place to assists elderly adults in building their cognitive and physical abilities. Usener also talks about the impact that volunteers in the Meals on Wheels program have in the lives of homebound or isolated seniors while also providing companionship to isolated persons.
