Jeanice Lee talks to Michelle Perkins, the Executive Director of Turning Point A.O.D. Perkins shares her personal story as to what inspired her to start this non-profit which began as an outpatient drug facility. As time went by Perkins saw the need to help those coming out of incarceration, those struggling with homelessness and mental disparities. Perkins says they provide temporary and permanent housing support, mental health services, education programs, and more to men, women and transitional aged youth. Turning Point A.O.D. has a home for women exiting prison and jail to help get their life back in order. (TurningPointAOD.com)
