Jeanice Lee talks to Tammy T. Blevins the Director of Programs and Events with The Blue Heart Foundation. Blevins says they provide underserved African American youth males 13 – 19 years old with clear and equitable paths to education, mental health support and well-being while empowering them with leadership career opportunities and development. Blevins says they offer connection workshops, culinary therapy, STEM, and college prep classes which helps gives these young men a safe place to share and be empowered. Their mentors and their Mindful Heart Program are designed to help build character and self-esteem. Learn more (TheBlueHeartFoundation.org)
