Jason Craig speaks with LaToysha Brown, Executive Director at Sunflower County Freedom Project Network. The Freedom Project Network's mission is to create a corps of academically capable, socially conscious, and mentally disciplined leaders in the Mississippi Delta area. Brown discusses the importance of their values, which include love, action, education, and discipline. She gives us insight into their programs, including their Freedom Summer Project, Academic Support, Arts Enrichment, and Education Travel. Brown also shares about the program's impact on their alums, including herself, who was also a young fellow in the past (sunflowerfreedom.org).
