Jeanice Lee speaks to the Executive Director of New Horizons Disability Empowerment Center, Darlene Golson. Golson describes how they assist people who have a physical, developmental or medical disability across northern Arizona. She says their goal is to help people live their most self-sufficient, independent life while striving to educate the public about people with disabilities. They provide advocacy, information referrals, peer support, independent living skills training, transition services, transportation, they have a fitness center, and disability related programs.
