Jeanice Lee talks to Scott Hansen, Executive Director of Maui Rescue Mission. Hansen shares how they mobilized during the Lahaina fire and how they continue to serve those who need assistance. They are a mobile outreach that serves the homeless 5 days a week by providing private full bathrooms with showers and laundry services in addition to other resources such as clothing and cell phone charging. Hansen says it is important to be consistent in serving in the same locations to continue to build relationships, learn about their needs, and connect them to resources. Volunteers needed.
