Peter Kaye speaks with Catherine Lynn of the Greater Boston Food Bank about food insecurity and how they and their 600 partners across the eastern portion of the Commonwealth of Massachusetts are addressing it. Lynn brings up the staggering fact that one in three people in Massachusetts is food insecure. That along with the reality that the Boston metro area ranks 5th in the nation for the highest food cost, makes for a bit of a perfect storm. Lynn describes how the Food Bank emphasizes nutrition and highlights their click and cook online recipe resource.
