Kindra ponio talks with Pastor Rick Barkowsky, Celebrate Recovery, Fowler Worship Center. Barkowsky talks about how important it is to work the 12 steps to overcome addictions of all sorts. He says it's not just drugs or alcohol, but any hurts, habits or hang-ups. Anything that keeps us from moving forward in a happy, healthy lifestyle. Barkowsky talks about the importance of helping the youth in a program called The Landing, which mimics what the adults are studying the same week, giving families to talk it out together.
He serves dinner prior to the meetings and offers free child care.
