Jeanice Lee talks to Lisa Mentesana, Executive Director of Beaverton Resource Center. People in Beaverton school district attendance area struggling with poverty can get help. Mentesana says they serve people with things such as lunch, hygiene items, and emergency food. They offer mobile vision, mammogram, and dental care. Rental and utility assistance is avail thanks to private donations. Classes such as parenting, wellness, and employment assistance is offered. Walk in 13565 SW Walker Rd on Tues, Wed, and Fri - 9am-1pm no appointment necessary. All services are free.
