Peter Kaye speaks with Jennifer Lawlor of Alight Center about the ways in which they serve women and men in unexpected pregnancies. Lawlor gives a behind the scenes look at the mission and the heart of Alight and tells stories of impact the Center has had upon the individuals and families that it has served. She emphasizes the importance of a nonjudgmental atmosphere and listening to the woman expressing her needs and the challenges she is facing. Lawlor states that more than eight out of ten women who have an ultrasound decide to carry their baby to term and tells heartwarming story of new parents meeting their twins on the ultrasound screen!
