Ron Turner talks with Scott Schumacher – President of the Village of West Salem about running a small town. He says the biggest challenge, as with many small towns, is trying to provide the best services with limited resources. He explains it is more challenging with the rising costs for road maintenance and fuel. He boasts of the united atmosphere not only amongst board members but those businesses and people of the community as well who are contributing to the success of West Salem.
