Kindra Ponzio talks with Kat Hartsell, Assistant Director of Our Place Community Outreach. Hartsell talks about their programs to help those in need and to help prevent homelessness. They offer things like food, clothing, kitchen supplies, hygiene items, and utility assistance, etc. The food program allows clients to shop market style, choosing what they want and will eat. Hartsell says the food comes from First Harvest and several grocery stores in the community, along with farmers.
