Peter Kaye speaks with Sherry McMillan, client advocate at 1st Way Pregnancy Clinic in Cumberland about the ways in which they assist women in an unexpected pregnancy. McMillan points out that many of her clients do not have a support system when they visit and are given the opportunity to share their fears and discuss their needs. She takes us inside the ultrasound room and tells stories of moms and dads hearing their unborn baby’s heartbeat for the very first time and the impact that it has. McMillan shares about their moms’ days and how comradery and friendships are built strengthening families and building community.
