Four-time Super Bowl Champions is not the only title the Kansas City Chiefs have.

From an in-house chaplain to praise and worship before every home game, the successful team is leading by example and keeping God first on and off the field.

Gracie Hunt has been watching this all unfold ever since she was born.

Born into the Chiefs Kingdom dynasty, her grandfather, Lamar Hunt has been credited as one of the most influential people in the National Football League. In the early 1950s, he founded the Kansas City Chiefs, formerly known as the Dallas Texans, and started the American Football League, now known as the AFC. In the mid-1960s, Lamar even coined the name “Super Bowl” after being inspired by a children’s toy.

Soon after he passed away in 2006, his son Clark Hunt took over as owner and CEO and brought his family along for this ongoing, successful ride.

For the past 25 years, Gracie Hunt has had the best seat in the house when it comes to the Kansas City Chiefs success. From three Super Bowl wins, to even a movie inspired by the team, Gracie is showing it all off on her lively Instagram account

But one thing is at the forefront of it all.

From the very beginning, the Hunt family hoped to keep their love for Christ above all the touchdowns, lights, camera, and action.

“I grew up with parents who just set the most incredible examples of faith and that started just forming me from childhood on,” Gracie says.

With a family rooted in faith having football games played on the same day and time as those who hope to attend church, Clark Hunt knew he needed to find a way for Chiefs fans to attend both.

“My dad brought the faith and family chapel to game days 10 years ago,” Gracie explained.

The chapel gives fans the opportunity to praise and worship together just in time for noon kickoffs at Arrowhead Stadium. Led by Chaplain Marcellus Casey, fans are invited to a praise and worship service full of music, community, and prayer on game days.

The team also receives bible verses handed out by Casey.

When asked if Gracie Hunt had a favorite verse she has been given, she knew the perfect answer.

“I remember last year's verse for the Super Bowl, which was 'I have fought the good fight, I have kept the faith, I have finished the race.' It was just so fitting,” she answered.

This verse hits close to home as it reminds Gracie of her late grandparents, Lamar and Norma Hunt, who have instilled the good values the organization has had from its inception.

Today, Gracie shares all things that she is passionate about including behind-the-scenes with the Kansas City Chiefs, travel endeavors, fashion, and how Jesus is with her every step of the way.

There are many Super Bowl rings, trophies, and awards under her belt, but one honor lasts forever.

“Just being little me and knowing Jesus and being a daughter of Christ is the only crown that really lasts,” Gracie adds.
