Kayla Gray, a hairdresser at Sport Clips salon in Caldwell, Idaho, went to work with hair flowing all the way down her back. She didn't know the customer that sat in her chair on that day, would inspire her to do the unthinkable.

As most clients would say, a hairdresser is like a therapist, and by the end of the visit, the stylist knows the client's life story. But this customer didn't have to say a word about what was going on in her life. In an Instagram post by Good News Movement, Gray could feel clumps of her hair falling out in her hands. Lorraine is battling cancer, and it was time to shave her head. It's a tough thing to do for most cancer patients who are going through treatments like chemotherapy.

Gray could sense that Lorraine felt alone in her cancer battle. What happened next was caught on camera. After shaving Lorraine’s hair, Gray shaved her own head in solidarity. She was sure to ask if it was OK first, and as her long locks began to fall, so did the tears from Lorraine's eyes.
