We want to bring you this encouraging follow-up story about "We Pray San Diego," a multi-church, multi-community event to ask God's blessings and guidance as the region experiences the various COVID-19 concerns, in addition to civil unrest related to race relations.

Here's the official summary of what took place:

"The Bible says that God hears the cries of His people, and we are looking forward to seeing the tangible results from these prayers."

This past Saturday, over 15,800 people came together in unity at one time to seek God to move in our city, nation, and world! 7,200 people gathered across 11 different locations throughout the county to pray on the sidewalks, in parks, and in front of government buildings. There were 11 additional locations in California, the U.S., and Mexico that participated in this momentous day. 135 churches partnered with the event and many city leaders, including a U.S. representative, congressman, county supervisors, mayors, and council members attended We Pray San Diego. Over 8,600 people joined online via Facebook and Instagram.

The Bible says that God hears the cries of His people, and we are looking forward to seeing the tangible results from these prayers.

Thank you for partnering with San Diego in prayer. Let’s continue to pursue God and witness His faithfulness in our lives and in the lives of those around us.
