As the true extent of the loss and damage in Maui is slowly revealed day-by-day, Convoy of Hope is already making a difference with practical help.

Team members arrived over-the-weekend “delivering batteries, chargers, radios, and lights that charge through solar power – because so much of the island still has no electricity,” shares Convoy’s Ethan Forhetz.

For the survivors, many of whom are now homeless, Convoy is supplying “basic essentials” like sports drinks, safe water, food, and hygiene items.

Local churches are working closely with Convoy of Hope, which has deep knowledge of supporting communities after disasters.
