New Song Feature: "A Thousand Times" We Are Messengers

We might be flipping the calendar, but as We Are Messengers reminds us: New Year. Same God. The collective’s latest single, “A Thousand Times,” brings this stark reality into sharp focus as it points to the impeccable character of Christ. His track record speaks for itself and should bring us a sense of comfort and peace as we face life’s inevitable challenges. If we know who He is, and if we’ve seen what He can do in the past, then we can be confident of His ability to come through in the present.

“‘A Thousand Times’ is a declaration of the goodness of God. I’ve seen it in my life, and so have you. He’s been good in every situation, in every circumstance; and we can count on Him, we can take Him at His word,” offers We Are Messengers frontman Darren Mulligan of the central message behind the arena-ready anthem. “We can trust that God is good yesterday, today and tomorrow. So, friends, God has been good, hasn’t He? And He’ll be good a thousand times more.”

Boasting of the Lord’s faithfulness, Mulligan walks New York’s historic Brooklyn Bridge — the Manhattan skyline at his back — in the official music video for the song he wrote with Ethan Hulse and Jonathan Smith.

“A Thousand Times” made its exclusive radio debut as a K-LOVE First and follows We Are Messengers’ previous hit, “God Be The Glory.” Both originals appear on the K-LOVE Fan Award-winning group’s most recent full-length album, “Where The Joy Is.” They’ll continue their massive tour in support of the project this spring, with special guests Austin French and Leanna Crawford. Additionally, We Are Messengers will be part of the lineup for “K-LOVE Live in New York” on Aug. 9, 2025, when the band takes the stage at the iconic Beacon Theatre for an evening of uplifting music alongside friends Seph Schlueter and TobyMac.
