Terrian encourages listeners with the truth that they are seen, known and loved by the Creator of the universe on her new single, “He Sees You.” Backed by a soulful choir, the Memphis native affirms the watchful eyes of our Heavenly Father are always on His children across the Gospel-tinged selection, which brings to mind Psalm 34:15: “The eyes of the Lord watch over those who do right; his ears are open to their cries for help.”
“I hope this song meets you where you’re at today and is your reminder that God sees you,” Terrian says of the selection she wrote with mentor and friend TobyMac; former Christian artist Nikki Leonti and Leonti’s husband, fellow musician Ryan Edgar. “He Sees You” can be found on Terrian’s full-length debut, “Give It Time.”
The “Big God” singer recently appeared on an installment of K-LOVE’s “This Is My Story,” as well as on an episode of K-LOVE On Demand’s “Empty Stage” with host Andrew Greer. She also announced her departure from TobyMac’s Diverse City Band, with whom she’s toured as a key member for the past eight years. Fans, however, haven’t seen the last of Terrian. She’ll join the 2025 lineup for Toby’s “Hits Deep Tour,” which kicks off Jan. 23 in Pensacola, Fla. Alongside her former boss and other fan favorites, including Crowder, CAIN and Ryan Stevenson, Terrian will spread her wings and lean fully into her solo artistry during a set that will open each night of the 32-date outing.
“The plan was always for her to be with us while she developed as an artist, and we have had the privilege of taking the stage with her for around 600 shows. She is a force. Her talent and work ethic are unsurpassed,” Toby shared on social media following Terrian’s final show with Diverse City in December. “She is the consummate professional. Always on the ready with her talent, her creative ideas and her support. But overshadowing her talent, which seems insurmountable, is her heart for our King and the character with which she lives backstage. Terrian is a friend and a sister. She inspires us all to love Jesus more. To follow Him more closely and to live more like He lived.”
