New Song Feature: "Right On Time" Iveth Luna

Iveth Luna affirms God is never late on her single, “Right on Time.” The exuberant anthem contends that while God may not work on our timetable, there’s never been a moment when He hasn’t shown up right on time.

Written shortly after she got engaged, “Right on Time” was inspired by Luna’s long-held desire for marriage, which didn’t happen as quickly as she planned. The perfect declaration for those in a season of waiting, the track gives Christian music fans a taste of the relatable lyrics and dynamic vocal that define the newcomer’s artistry. The bilingual singer has also recorded “Right on Time” in Spanish.

“‘Right on Time’ is so special to me because I have experienced both sides of the coin when it comes to worrying about my future. Whether I find myself rushing and striving for the next thing or having anxiety over the next phase in life, I want to remind my soul of all the times God has been faithful to me in His perfect timing,” Luna says. “This song reminds our hearts to have confidence in God’s timing and plan because of His perfect track record. I may not always be on time, but I can trust that God always is.”

Filmed in Franklin, Tenn., the humorous music video for the bright and confident pop selection evolves into a colorful praise party as Luna and a cast of effervescent characters testify to the timeliness of God, proving that everyone can identify with living in the universal tension of the “not yet.”

Last year, the Texas native released “Just Like Jesus,” her debut six-song collection of originals. She has since toured with Micah Tyler and Mike Donehey (Tenth Avenue North) and garnered her first Dove Award nomination as a co-writer on Consumed by Fire’s “Goodbye Ole Me.”

Alongside other new music, Luna is currently sharing “Right on Time” on the “Community Worship Nights Tour” though the end of July.
