From unforgettable performances and special surprises to standing ovations and tear-inducing tributes, the 2024 K-LOVE Fan Awards held no shortage of highlights. Hosted by Brandon Lake and Sadie Robertson Huff, the 11th annual event included too many high points to count. Somehow we managed to narrow it down to a handful. Those who attended in-person or watched the broadcast on TBN know that’s no easy feat. Out of an entire night filled with memories we won’t soon forget, here are five must-see moments from the 2024 K-LOVE Fan Awards.
When Crowder & Jeremy Camp Both Performed Lead Singles From Their Brand New Albums
Crowder and Jeremy Camp each released new projects within a stone’s throw of this year’s K-LOVE Fan Awards, and both men were on hand at the 2024 ceremony to deliver their latest hits. Amidst a storm of blazing electric guitars and fiery red lighting, Crowder ripped through a rendition of his fifth No. 1, “Grave Robber,” hailing from “The EXILE.” Meanwhile, Camp creatively brought the cover art for his 13th studio effort, “Deeper Waters,” to life on stage — complete with a parachute drop — when he performed the LP’s first single, “These Days.”
When TobyMac Honored Friends Mandisa and Gabe Patillo
Although four-time K-LOVE Fan Award winner TobyMac couldn’t attend this year’s awards ceremony because his son was graduating on the same night, his presence was still felt. Not only did the hitmaker snag Song of the Year honors for “Faithfully,” he also remembered his late friends, Mandisa and Gabe Patillo, with a video tribute that featured highlights from their respective careers and their individual legacies. The visual was soundtracked by “Goodbye,” an unreleased original song written and recorded by Toby especially for the moving segment.
When the Elevation Choir Drove All the Way From Charlotte to Close the Show
Group of the Year winners Elevation Worship capped the evening with a celebratory rendition of their nominated single, “Praise.” While the lauded outfit left with the first K-LOVE Fan Award of their career, the choir that backed them during their performance was the ultimate winner. The Elevation Choir — comprised of 20 volunteers from their church — got up at 5 a.m. the day of the awards show and drove all the way from Charlotte, N.C., just to perform with Elevation Worship. They arrived in Nashville in time for soundcheck. Immediately following their brief time on stage, they hopped back on a bus and headed straight home.
When Terrian Brought “Big God” to Life on the Fan Awards Stage
Although she’s previously performed on the Fan Awards stage backing TobyMac, 2024 marked the first year Terrian headlined a performance slot all her own. The newcomer brought a colorful and flawlessly delivered performance of “Big God” straight to fans. Accompanied by dancers and a full band, the Breakout Single and Female Artist of the Year contender made sure “Big God” lived up to its name with one of the night’s best (and biggest) performances.
When CAIN Selected an Unexpected Deep Cut for Their Performance
While most anticipated CAIN would deploy their current single, “Any More,” during their appearance on the Fan Awards stage; instead, the trio took a left turn and performed “Friend In Jesus,” a deep cut from 2023’s live worship EP, “Honest Offering.” A studio version of the powerful anthem is slated for a deluxe edition of “Jesus Music” coming soon. In another unconventional move, the K-LOVE Fan Award winning group donned all black for their performance — a stark contrast to their normal bright-colored attire.
