Sadie Robertson Huff claimed the prize for Podcast Impact for the second time at the 11th annual K-LOVE Fan Awards. Her “WHOA That’s Good” podcast previously picked up a win in the category’s inaugural year back in 2022. Since its debut, the bracket has kept it all in the “Ducky Dynasty” family with “Unashamed with Phil & Jase Robertson” coming out on top in 2023.
On her “WHOA That’s Good” podcast, the Live Original founder talks to a variety of artists, authors and athletes, always asking one pivotal question: What’s the best advice you’ve ever been given? She’s recently posed this question to author Jess Connolly, influencer Devin Cordle and Olympic gold medalist Carly Patterson Caldwell.
“I wanted to start a podcast because I felt like a lot of people were looking for someone to mentor them, but didn’t know who to ask or how to ask. I realized I had so many mentors in my life I could call and ask advice for on things, and I wanted to share their wisdom with others,” Huff offers of the origins behind “WHOA That’s Good.” “I know I have been encouraged and moved probably more than anyone. Getting to learn from all of these conversations and find the gold in the lives of others has been a dream.”
The popular author and speaker co-hosted the K-LOVE Fan Awards this year with Brandon Lake. The pair regaled the audience with a lighthearted opening monologue where they handed out their own “Brandie” awards — titled after a combination of their first names. Moreover, the co-hosts rolled out pre-recorded video segments that featured both humorous and heartwarming moments, as well as cameos by various members of Huff’s famous family. Incidentally, Phil, Kay, Jase and Missy Robertson served as co-hosts of the very first K-LOVE Fan Awards back in 2013.
