And the Grammy Goes To...

CeCe Winans collected top honors in two categories at the 67th Annual GRAMMY® Awards. “That’s My King” earned Winans a win in the Best Contemporary Christian Music Performance/Song bracket; and her latest live effort, “More Than This,” garnered recognition for Best Gospel Album. The pair of accolades ups her GRAMMY® count to 17, having accrued 34 total nominations across her unparalleled career, thus far.

Written by Taylor Agan, Kellie Gamble, Lloyd Nicks and Jess Russ, “That’s My King” summited the radio charts in 2024. Meanwhile, “More Than This” received a GMA Dove Award for Gospel Worship Album of the Year in October. In addition to “That’s My King,” the 13-track collection finds Winans putting her undeniable stamp on global worship anthem “Holy Forever” and Stephen McWhirter’s emotionally resonant “Come Jesus Come,” among other selections.

Although Winans was unable to attend this year’s ceremony, held Sunday, Feb. 2, 2025, in Los Angeles, she took to social media to thank her musical collaborators, her team and her family. The “Believe For It” singer launches her “More Than This Tour,” in support of the GRAMMY®-winning project, Feb. 12. She’s scheduled to take her impressive catalog across the pond for select international dates later this year. This summer, the Gospel music trailblazer will grace the iconic stage at Red Rocks Amphitheatre for “K-LOVE Live at Red Rocks.”

In addition to Winans’ significant wins, rising artist DOE took home the GRAMMY® for Best Contemporary Christian Music Album on the strength of her sophomore LP, “Heart of a Human,” in a competitive category that also included critically acclaimed records from Elevation Worship, Forrest Frank, Brandon Lake and Maverick City Music.

Jenn Johnson, members of Elevation Worship and JWLKRS Worship were among the Christian nominees who attended this year’s GRAMMY® festivities.
