The unity that we show through the love of Jesus, and in the movement of the Holy Spirit, stands as an obvious marker of God's presence to the world around us. On the National Day of Prayer, Christians from all traditions gather to pray together, lifting up our hearts before the Lord on behalf of our nation. 1 Timothy 2:1-2 calls us to do just this as a part of our ministry of prayer. This is our joy, and honor to serve our neighbors and our country in this way for the glory of God.
