Younger couples changing the way you say “I Do!” Wedding traditions that are not happening much anymore:

Not seeing each other until the ceremony

      -many having alone time together right before the ceremony; some even taking pictures

Floor-length white dresses

      -young brides are choosing colorful dresses that more match their style…also, you can save money this way

Veils

      -brides are doing more flower crowns…some doing capes with hoods

Matching Bridesmaid dresses

      -instead doing a color theme and people in the bridal party can pick something they will actually wear again

Bouquet Toss

      -rather than throwing it away, you want to keep it as a souvenir

Diamonds for the engagement ring

      -you want a ring/stone that reflects your personality and you don’t want to spend more than $2500

Inviting Everyone

      -it’s too expensive and you’d rather have a more intimate ceremony
