Our church has been doing these awesome summer nights called Big Wednesdays. Last week we heard from Zoro The Drummer. He’s one of the greats. When Zoro was just a boy, he worked his way into playing for one of his heroes, who said “Oh, you’re gonna be one of them superstar drummers.” At the same time, Zoro’s mama kept telling him that he was going to do great things for God. They both spoke life to that boy and they both were right.
The tongue is the most powerful muscle in our bodies and minute-by-minute we choose how to use it. This September, we hope you come along with us as we celebrate Thirty Days of Encouragement - pick one person, every day, to encourage, to speak life over.
I’ve always been a little odd, goofy, different. For a long time, little Jeff Detrow believed everyone who told me that I’d never amount to much in the conventional world.
Then I walked into history class at Edgewood Junior High, and Mr. Indorf believed in me and told me so every day. Life turned when I believed him; when Paul Indorf spoke life. We are social media friends and still exchange Christmas cards! It’s partly his fault that you hear my unconventional goofiness every day. Speak life.
