LOCAL Closer Look: Asian American Resource Center (San Bernardino, CA)

Jeanice Lee meets with Ana Barahona the ESL Program Coordinator with the Asian American Resource Center. The Asian American Resource Center helps provide programs such as educational, mental and physical health by providing informational and developmental programs to Asian-Americans and other ethnic groups who are low-income, vulnerable and under served throughout San Bernardino and Riverside Counties. A few programs they are offer are Interpreting and Translation Services, ESL and Citizenship classes, Homework After School programs for children and their mental health program called Asian Pacific Islander Community Health Workers. They also help people apply for electricity and gas bill discount assistance . Anyone is welcome to the Asian American Resource Center all their programs are free of charge.
